As a young warrior in the 1960's, I was convinced that some unknown evil was ready to attack the U.S. and threaten my freedom. I was prepared to die for that conviction, spending half of 1967 and most of 1968, as a marine in Vietnam. I survived the battles, but the war is ever present...

#170. Marijke's Peace

Our collection of peace signs has been dedicated to Marijke Morris

The recent loss of my precious niece, Marijke, due to domestic insanity, penetrated my deepest emotional sanctuary.This sense of loss was engulfed by the love and caring of the Sherwood family,and by seeing the scope of Marijke's reach into the community.I will be including her family-love-spirit into the remaining 850 points of peace, and dedicating the effort to her memory.

We are also donating a part of the proceeds to a local group dedicated to eradicating domestic violence.
